James' Place @ Brynawel
James' Place @ Brynawel is located is a quiet suburban area of Merthyr Tydfil. Merthyr Tydfil is named after a 5th-century Welsh Christian princess (Tydfil the Martyr) and is a few miles from the entrance of The Brecon Beacons, The Four Waterfalls, Bike Park Wales and Zip World.

James' Place @ Brynawel is a period Victorian House with view across the Taff Valley. The property is a short 10 min walk from Merthyr Tydfil's town centre, train station and bus station. There is a corner shop at the end of the street and a large Tesco's just down the road.

The accommodation is located on the 1st and 2nd floor which provides great views across the valley. Secure bike storage and wash down facilities are provided at the property plus a couple of parking spaces.
The Rafters
Self Catering Studio
This is our latest studio @Brynawel and aptly named The Rafters. We have exposed the beams and wooden floor so it has a country retreat feel. It is fully equipped with ensuite and kitchen so you really can 'make yourself at home' .
The studio has a lounge area with Smart TV, Sofa , coffee table and dining table. The sleeping area has a metal framed double bed surrounded in fairy lights, dressing table and arch windows to admire the view from. The kitchen is fully equipped with microwave, hob, glassware, crockery etc etc whilst there is a modern ensuite with shower, toilet and basin.

Come and relax @Brynawel Pen Y Ty, fully equipped with ensuite and kitchen so you really can 'make yourself at home' Pen y Ty means top of the house, which gives this studio amazing character and superb views over the Merthyr valley.
The studio is fully furnished with a super king sized bed, bistro table, desk, smart TV. The kitchen comes with everything you need (and probably somethings you don't!). The modern ensuite has a walk in shower, toilet and basin. The living/sleeping area and kitchen/shower room is separated by a small hallway.

The Blue Room
Double Ensuite
Come and relax @Brynawel's Blue Room, tastefully decorated in a french style with blue toile de jouy wall paper and an antique cane bed. Our Blue Room has superb views over the Merthyr valley.
The room is fully furnished with a double bed, desk, and TV. The modern ensuite has a walk in shower, toilet and basin.
